Student Success Center Tutoring
Tutoring: Through the Student Success Center, students can meet with tutors ready to assist them with reaching their academic goals. Tutoring is free for OCtech students through the Student Success Center. Students can make an appointment by scheduling a time on the tutoring calendar. Tutors are available to meet with walk-ins if an appointment has not been made. If you are unable to meet on campus, you can request a virtual link be sent for your appointment. Students that are unable to meet with an OCtech tutor at the times listed on the calendar can use Brainfuse to meet with a tutor. To learn more about Brainfuse, please click here.

Brainfuse Online Tutoring
Brainfuse is an online tutoring system that is available 24/7 to OCtech students. This service allows students to communicate with a live tutor, or to submit a paper for review through their writing lab.
Accessing Brainfuse: Students access Brainfuse directly through D2L. The link for Brainfuse is under the resources tab once you enter a class page. If you have questions or need assistance with using Brainfuse, please stop by the Student Success Center.
Students who are unable to meet with an OCtech tutor can meet with a Brainfuse tutor through Live Help. Topics included in Brainfuse are: Business, Computer & Tech, English, Math, Nursing & Allied Health, and Science.
Students also have access to the following resources in Brainfuse.
- Skill Surfer: Access to a variety of lessons, videos, and tests.
- Flashbulb: Create your own flashcards/ games or use their library of flashcards.
